KENT CamEye with Times Women’s Drive
Celebrating women empowerment and safety, Times of India organized on February 29, 2020 the largest all-women car rally, and KENT CamEye supported the event as a safety partner. The event was aimed to raise awareness and funds to fight back breast cancer. The drive from Delhi to Jaipur was flagged off by The Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mr Kiren Rijiju from Siri Fort.
Over 300 women, registered under 100 teams participated in this rally. On 23rd February, the ladies were briefed about the event and their cars were tested for safety purpose as well. In this session, ladies were introduced to KENT CamEye, a next-gen car camera with GPS tracker as their safety companion in the rally. They were told about the purpose of using this device and how it vows to the safety of women travelling alone. The same day KENT CamEye was installed in the cars of many ladies over there. They got to enjoy the seven-day free trial before the rally. Over this period, they experienced and analysed its features and understood how it worked to help them overcome safety concerns while travelling.
On 29th February, the women were all set to start this exciting journey with their safety partner KENT CamEye. They were supposed to drive from Delhi to Jaipur and were escorted by security personnel on way. However, they had to drive back to their respective places on their own. So the women were pleased to know that KENT CamEye installed in the car would be their travel buddy all along.
Later, the rally finished off in Jaipur as a big hit and KENT CamEye got to win the heart of ladies as it helped them feel safe and secure while driving on their own.
